Remote Energy Healing - the Art of Healing From Afar.

One of the most talked-about topics in energy healing is the concept of remote energy healing. Put simply, it is the practice of performing energy healing of some kind when you're not right there to do it. Many different energy healing methods have ways or techniques for remote healing.

In Reiki, the instruction in techniques for Reiki distance healing come after the student has mastered the basics. In EFT, there has been a technique developed for surrogate EFT, where the person performing EFT does so on behalf of the intended recipient, which has the effect of remote energy healing since the place doesn't matter in this case.

Many wonder how remote energy healing could be possible. Here it is important to remember that energy healing - and all energy work - is spiritual. Spirit knows no distance, nor time. We often make the mistake of thinking that our physical bodies are who we are. In truth, we are spiritual beings who are working with a collective of micro-organisms that form our physical body. It is basically an ATV with senses attached for exploring the physical world. In realizing the truth that we are so much more, we begin to move past the limitations we put on ourselves.

The "why" of distance healing is both obvious and subtle: Sending healing energy to loved ones even when you aren't physically there is an obvious advantage. If you learn work energy healing over distances of time, you can send healing energy to the past and future, and thus can heal the past and bolster the future.

Beyond that, distance healing is often used for much larger and more diffuse purposes than the healing of one person. Energy also gets sent to ease a tense situation, to raise global consciousness, to comfort the victims of a disaster, to restore peace, and for many many other purposes.
